We do a thin-crust, northwest style of pizza. Our dough is simple (water, flour, salt, yeast- no added fats, dairy or sugar), we use the best whole milk mozzarella and imported Pecorino Romano cheeses. The sauce is a simple crushed tomatoes. Our dough is hand-stretched at the event and baked in our high-heat, wood-fired oven, with the end product having the characteristic charring around the edges. Chestnut Springs Mobile Eatery (formerly Farm to Forno) provides a unique catering service with specially outfitted antique trucks that serve as a mobile pizzeria. We can also offer pig roasts with all the fixings!
Our focus is to deliver a one-of-a-kind party experience. Our trucks pull up to the party location, heat up the wood-fired pizza oven, then start to make fresh, hot pizzas right on the spot!
Well, for a start, our antique Chevy trucks converted to mobile pizza ovens makes us cool. From there, it’s our focus on quality ingredients and creating memories, whether of an event, a delicious bakery treat or a fun time had with friends.
We are currently working on building a cidery on the farm where our pigs and wild boars are raised. In addition to delicious craft cider, we’ll be using the farm and cidery as a wedding and event venue featuring our own mobile catering trucks and shepherd’s hut accommodation.
